How Much Does It Cost to Build a Business Website in Morocco?

Abstract 3D illustration of translucent glass panels, representing pricing plans

It's the first question every business owner asks, and the hardest one to get a straight answer to in Morocco: how much does a website actually cost? Quotes here are usually negotiated case by case, which means two businesses with near-identical needs can pay wildly different prices. We do it differently — every price is published, fixed, and available before you ever pick up the phone.

What actually drives the cost of a website

Four things move the price more than anything else: whether you need to sell products online (e-commerce is inherently more complex than a brochure site), how custom the design and features need to be, whether you need integrations like card payments or booking systems, and what happens after launch — hosting, updates and security don't stop being a cost just because the site is live.

Moka3ab's real, published prices

  • Presence — 1,890 MAD (≈174€, excl. tax): a professional WordPress site, unlimited pages, a free logo, SEO and Google Analytics setup, and free hosting for the first year. Live in about 10 days.
  • Business — 2,890 MAD (≈266€, excl. tax): everything in Presence, plus a full WooCommerce store — unlimited catalog, cash on delivery, CashPlus and bank transfer built in, delivery zones and inventory management.
  • Enterprise — from 8,890 MAD (≈818€, excl. tax): a fully custom build on Drupal (or Laravel, React and others on request), for businesses that need custom workflows, integrations or a mobile app. This tier is refined after a short scoping call — you approve the final quote before anything begins.

All three prices are shown excluding tax by default; a 20% VAT is only added if you request a formal invoice.

What about ongoing costs?

A website isn't a one-time expense. After the free first year, hosting renews from around 79 MAD/month. Most clients also add Standard Maintenance (from 490 MAD/month) for updates, backups and priority support, and many pair it with Monthly SEO tracking (from 690 MAD/month) once the site is live and they want to grow their search traffic. None of this is mandatory — it's modular, so you only pay for what you actually use.

Why publish prices at all?

Because it's rare, and it should not be. When prices are hidden, you have no way to know if a quote is fair. We'd rather compete on the work itself. See the full breakdown, including every optional add-on, on our packages page — or start with our Presence package if you're ready to move now.
